Our commitment to the latest technology is illustrated by our recent $2 million dollar investment in a standalone laser cutting facility at Emu Plains. This facility is equipped with the latest Mitsubishi EX series fully automated laser cutter. This equipment is capable of cutting up to 20mm thick mild steel and 12mm thick stainless steel and alloy sheet. The facility is stocked with a wide variety of sheet products in large quantities to enable the shortest of lead times. The Yarramundi facility is home to the more exciting technology, including our two Finn Power Shear Genius full CNC Turret Punches capable of producing many thousands of blanks per day. The blanks are then folded if necessary, on one of our three MachTech press brakes. The largest has a 4m length and 220 tonne press capacity.
